Prior to 2018, The Peopleβs Choice Awards was owned, operated and aired by ABC. Starting with the inaugural year of the award show being owned by E! Entertainment, my team was tasked with cross-platform content creation for the 2018 and the 2020 awards.
For the 2020 show, during a year where quarantine forced users to be very online, my creative priority was to build a cohesive campaign with pop-culture, celebrity-centric content with subtle hints of escapism. Throughout the campaign we created hundreds of pieces of content, including the entirety of the nominee and pre-batched winner graphics that were posted live during the show, as well as on-site content talent capture.
